• December 8: Ryder completes the first continuity draft of his feature script Dreamrole 2000.

​

• September 17: Ryder begins writing the demo for "Undeniable," an uptempo dance-rock track for the soundtrack of his forthcoming feature film.

​​

• July 28: WINGTIPS just dropped the video for their song "The Break feat. Ronnie Stone," which Ryder helped shoot in Brooklyn last year.

​

• ​June 27: New York band Project Diem released the video for their new single "Dead Pop," starring Ryder as a daydreaming vampire on the run from two detectives while romancing at the beach. The video was filmed over the course of two days at Coney Island last month. Click here to watch!
   

• March 24: Ryder begins writing the new draft of his long-awaited return to the director's chair. Since the release of his first film, Rapture in Blue, in 2020, he has been toying with different drafts of his next feature... but it wasn't until now that he set aside all other projects and truly rekindled his discipline for the screenwriting process like never before. Time will tell...

• February 23: "Neither Wrath Nor Punishment" takes home the award for Best Music Video at the first annual Wellsboro Film Festival!

• December 13: Ryder plays his final show of the year at the grand opening of the Spellbound Studio salon in South Philadelphia, hosted by Goth Hospital Tapes, the lot behind his very first gig in 2022. This time, he headlines for returning players WRISTS and Sisyphus on Ecstasy.

• August 6-7: Ryder went up to NYC this week to help WINGTIPS shoot their new music video featuring Ronnie Stone. Armed with two VHS camcorders, the gang hit the streets of Brooklyn to shoot deliciously edgy, urban phantasmagoria. Keep an eye out for their new song "The Break."
   

• May 28: Ryder shoots the dreamy, Carrie-inspired video for his cover of "I Never Dreamed Someone Like You Could Love Someone Like Me" from his latest EP, Total Reciprocity. Release date TBD.
   

• March 20: Tonight, Ryder and his band from the recording of Total Reciprocity take the stage at The Dolphin in Philadelphia as they open for goth-buddy Ronnie Stone with DJ sets by Korine! This marks the first set Ryder has performed alongside live accompaniment with Ciaran Wall on guitar and Samuel Nobles on bass.

• February 14: Happy Valentine's Day! To celebrate, Ryder has dropped the music video for the EP's title track, "Total Reciprocity." The lo-fi B&W video was shot at a seedy honeymoon motel in Jersey last November and tells the tale of a young alcoholic left to his own devices while awaiting the return of his neglectful lover. Watch'n learn!

• February 9: Ryder Houston's new three-track EP Total Reciprocity is now available for streaming worldwide. Recorded last fall at Spice House Sound in Philadelphia, this new record veers deeper into the grungy, alt-rock realm Houston had been dreaming about since the beginning.
